START LIVING

.
I JUST WANT TO SAY...

When your heart hurts, when its in your stomach… its breaking..its empty..its not beating anymore..you DONT have to feel that way ..you really really dont..i promise you that.. I think maybe everyone knows how much it hurts..I sure do..its hard to feel lonely and think no one cares, its hard to have someone hurt you deeply over and over again.
But you know there’s a WAY...there’s a WAY that will make you so happy..its like unexplainable...sometimes life’s confusing..its tough...but all temptation and desire to be someone you’re not or completely give up goes away..and you mean it when you laugh and smile and do GOOD things..not like just clean your room or walk the dog..but like make someone else SMILE.or just make yourself feel grateful for life....
I wish everyone could know that feeling. I wish you could feel the way I feel now compared to the way I felt before..its incredible..yeah I’m still looking forward to tough times because they make you the person you are and you learn a lot from tough times..but choose to be happy..choose to live your life with a SOUL purpose. you are wonderfully created by God to do marvellous works.
Start living that way.. start living life to the extreme..make choices that will forever change your life and others lives in an awesome way!!! Gods there for you..he’s not a million miles away..hes not an unreachable, mean, uncaring God..he’s a loving father ready to help you out and make life so much better for you. All YOU have to do its SEEK HIM! :)

"For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, I will bless you with a future filled with hope, a future filled with success not suffering" Jeremiah 29:11 (take time to read it)

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged; For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go" Joshua 1:9
c'mon LAUGH with me now :) :)

I have read lots of pieces just like this and while you would like them to be just like that, its not like that is it? If it was easy everybody would be doing it. Its not easy, its even hard to work out exactly what half of these things mean. And seek God, does not everybody do this? And how are you to not get frightened, listen to news, are you not frightened? Are you strong and couragous? No, I really dont get it. Be, do, seek, its not that simple, or if it is I have completely missed it. I don't feel like anyone is with me

Hi Deirdre,
Your right it’s easy to put words on paper that sound almost too simplistic. As you say life is messy and doesn’t always tie up its loose ends as neatly as we’d like. The girl who wrote this piece had to deal with the sudden death of her father and after the accident had to nurse her semi-invalided mother as well as looking after her younger siblings. In all these terrible circumstances she proved the faithfulness of God and drew strength from His presence and grace. In my own life I know that God shows up for those who seek Him but I have also have known times when He seems to be hiding. No sensible person could suggest that once you place your trust in Jesus everything in the garden becomes rosey, but some pretty fundamental issues are sorted. Jesus forgives us our inability to live good lives by taking our sins, He assures all who trust in Him of an eternal destiny and gives power to these weak lives of ours to live the life He intended us to live. A simple act Deirdre is to take Jesus at His word and confess your shortcomings to Him and ask Him to come into your life. He loves you dearly and died on the cross for you. Christianity is all about ’relationship’ with Jesus and each other and not about religious rules and dogmas. The Bible says to ‘taste and see that the Lord is good’, while coming to God is an act of faith the results for a surrendered life are real and tangible. Do you know any Christians that you can talk to ? It can be helpful to hear others experiences with God. I don’t know what part of the country you are in but there are Apha courses on basic Christianity available pretty widely , more info at http://www.alphacourse.ie/find-a-course/registered-alpha-courses Another useful sight that explains the difference between being ‘religious’ and being in ‘relationship’ is http://www.ptm.org/cwr/default.asp Hope this helps, stay in touch,
